Dedicated to Education, Awareness and Freedom of the Road

Welcome to the official web site of ABATE of North Idaho, Inc.

ABATE of North Idaho is a non-profit state Motorcycle Rights Organization (SMRO). ABATE stands for American Bikers Aiming Toward Education and our focus is on education, awareness and legislative issues relating to  motorcyclists rights.  We encourage our members to become familiar with and involved in the legislative process at both the local and state level and at the national level.

ABATE of North Idaho supports and is a member group of the National Coalition of Motorcyclists (NCOM) and the American Motorcyclists Association (AMA) and is a sustaining member organization of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF).

We have 6 chapters located in the panhandle of North Idaho.  Membership in ABATE of North Idaho provides a membership card and patch, voting rights, member discounts, and the ABATE of North Idaho Eagle newsletter and some really good times with good people while we  work to increase  motorcycle safety and awareness as well as preserve and protect our rights as  motorcyclists.

Our Mission

"The purpose of this corporation is to form an educational, charitable, and political group, to promote motorcycle safety, education, freedom of choice legislation and to provide a more favorable environment for motorcycle riders and the communities in which they reside".
